CV & BIO

Aleksandr Leshchenok (b. 1974) and Marina Ogneva (b. 1980) are interdisciplinary artists based in Siberia with extensive experience in landscape photography. Alongside this, they develop independent artistic projects, many of which focus on environmental transformation and the long-term consequences of human intervention in the landscape.  

Working across photography, digital collage, land art, and walking practices, they share a commitment to care, responsibility, and forms of coexistence that stand against violence and destruction.

The duo lives and works in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
